go away

November 19, 2010 by Lidia-Anain

stubborn love won’t go away

refuses to fade

sticks around until his smile and sweet eyes break me down

again

persistent love won’t go away

pulling me in how he got me in the first place

knowing in his heart that he’ll be the one to win

the girl is his

it’s meant to be

refuses to fade

sparks fire with his smile and sweet eyes breaking me down

again

I tell him it won’t be anymore

he still stands there at my door

small gestures once beat out the other suitors

he knows who this girl really is

small gestures once again winning

he should be gone by now

I want change

stubborn love choosing to change

unwilling to lose

won’t fade away

not from this girl

the only one who knows his heart

stubborn love…

…go away…

…I’m going to make it hard for you to love me…
